Morakniv Utility knives
2012. Although there were enough reasons to launch the process of transforming Morakniv into something new it was the circumstances around the 511 model that eventually became the trigger. The production line of the 511 was in urgent need of maintenance which would be significantly costly, but there were doubts whether it was wise to invest in a four decades old model. The question arouse what the alternative way to go would be. No Picnic was asked to explore the possibilities and a visionary project was initiated. It was the start of the transformation of Morakniv.
