The Halda vision is to create a watch for all situations in life using functions that addresses real needs. The idea for “Halda Space Discovery” originates from the watch innovator Mr Mikael Sandström at Halda Watch Co. No Picnic has been involved in every step of the development of the watch, the exterior, interior, mechanics, interface and graphic design.

The watch has two separate modules, an analog and a digital, which can be easily exchanged for different situations. Special features are amongst others; Dual Time, Chronograph, Event Log, G-Force meter.

On September 12th, the first Halda prototype of the 21st century, returned from its ultimate test in space together with ESA astronaut Christer Fuglesang.

The Halda Team is now working on the finalization of the watch and the Halda Space Discovery will be presented to the market in March 2010.
