SVID design open award given for sustainable ideas.
March 2011

This week the winners of SVID Design Open received their award from the jury chairman Michael Treschow. No Picnic, who also participated with several design coaches during the autumn of 2010, designed the trophy especially for this event.
The trophy is a tridimensional interpretation of the SVID logotype’s first letter. It consists of a non-perfect materialization of a wood sphere, sharply cut with industrial precision that reveals its value hidden inside. The use of a solid green color is intended to remind of the goals of sustainability that the award is aiming at.
The award ceremony was held at the conference Nordic Energy Outlook in Gothenburg, arranged by the Swedish Energy Agency.
